From the depths of downtempo to the heights of driving techno, Montaña Azul is all about the journey. A passionate selector with a love for global sounds, tribal beats and psychedelic grooves, she’s been carving her path through Australia’s doof scene since 2018. Blending melancholic and ethereal melodies layered over high-energy beats, she crafts an immersive and emotionally charged dancefloor experience to create something truly her own. A former regular behind the decks of Melbourne’s most iconic clubs, she performed at some of Australia and New Zealand’s biggest psychedelic festivals, such as Esoteric Festival, Earth Frequency Festival, Wild Horses Festival, Dimension Festival or Yatra Festival. After 10 years in Australia, she is now based in Europe, ready to take over the old continent.
